      JD,

I changed my settings to 800x600 and got a ok look at the face on shot. One thing I definately noticed was your wrist cock in the back swing. The club seems to be pointed straight out until you get near the top then the wrist cock drops in at the top.

You want to start your wrist cock as the club passes the big toe. You are waiting too long to start this move and is costing you distance. In the section of the swing where you are dropping the wrist into position the weight shift should be starting. The upper body would be completing the turn at that point. The wrists would be cocked earlier than that.

A drill you might want to try would be to take half swings and complete the wrist cock by that time. Do these with a 3 wood. The distance is not that important. You need to cock the wrists and release through the ball. The swing will be the lower 180* of the golf swing from waist high to waist high. I have hit a 3 wood 230 yards with just this move. It is essential in the swing.

Thanks. I sent a video but the file was to large so I got an error. I'll try that, thanks again,I'll try it at the range tomorrow. One thing I forgot and have always wondered is how do I start the take-away and at what point should I bring the club up, at the hip level, or when my hands go past my right shoe?

          Jd,

Yes, that is where the wrist action starts. Another thing I noticed in the face on is you are not shifting your weight to the left side in the proper sequence. You have a bit of a cast from the top where the weight shift should be. Think about lifting the right heel first on the through swing.

I typed a long explaination but it would confuse you right now. I am working on a step by step to the golf sequence. Look for it on the board later.
