Hey guys, alittle disappointed this weekend, was well infromed of some things I wanted to do this weekend and it totally went south. Woods were great 260 driver, 230 3 wood, 215 5 wood...average...irons, another story..par 3 playing 156 into wind, I tried to hit easy 5 iron and....I either came off it or I was trying to hit it so smoothly that I it ended up right of green as almost all the time....I play ball just inside of left foot, left hand is strong( 2 nuckles ) right hand is thumb and forefinger meet on the left side of shaft, take club back with left arm and was trying to concentrate on dropping my right elbow, maybe through off my timing, 3rd round of year and getting alittle worried, still shot 83, 12 over par, any advise and not feeling worried standing over ball on irons, I also play with my hands over my left knee at address, ( forward press )Thanks in advance guys, great forum

Re: Too Much Info???????????????
RE MSKLAR,
i've been trying to incorporate Greg's drill, and i thiink that i might be thinking too much about it instead of just letting it happen, I also meant to say that on my start I take it back with left arm first, not hand. Also, it could be that I could be standing alittle to close to the ball

Re: Too Much Info???????????????
my only suggestion would be to leave the DRILLS for the range or practice area. when your on the course, focus on the target, and hopefully what you practiced has been naturally ingrained into your swing. Keep your preshot routine the same on the range as the course, and always aim at something on the range.
