hitting the ball perfectly

I never take a divot, I always hit the ball perfectly.... That gives me no backspin though. Is that something I should try to fix or should I be content with hitting the ball only. It goes pretty far and feels good, but I can't ever get backspin, or stop the ball on a dime, it always rolls foward.

try moving the ball a little back in your stance. you may hit down on it more.
