i need some clarification....from reading all the posts about the correct shoulder turn it seems im doing it wrong. In my take away i turn my shoulders parallel to the ground..in other words when i turn my left shoulder to the proper/complete positon(behind the ball or close to it) my arms are directly to my right side parallel to the ground with the toe of the club pointing to the sky and i have to finish the back swith with my arms. Its as if somebody is standing to my right side and im handing off a football to them. Is this incorrect? I've read on here that my shoulders should take my arms all the way to the top of the backswing. i went to the backyard and was experimenting with this. I see and understand the shoulders taking my arms to the top of the back swing but not to the very top. it seems nearly impossible to make your shoulders take you arms to the VERY top of the backswing. i can get the club almost 3/4 through the backswing with out finishing with my arms. but it seems you would have to use your arms a little to get the club parallel to the ground at the top of the backswing...is this correct or am i confussed?

Re: another shoulder question
i am not sure if this is true, but i think when people say the shoulders move the arms to the top, i think they are meaning your arms should not be moving up once the shoulders stop. so as long as your shoulders are moving then it is okay to move your arms up... just a guess though.
i always think of the motions being 2 seperat things when i swing back.
here is a good link of tigers swing in slow mo http://www.youtube.com/w/Swing-Visio...page=1&t=t&f=b
