    ....was at the range 2 hours ago. Tried the "1st move on the downswing is a push of the left hip at a 45 degree anle to the left." Worked quite well. It really helps keep everything behind the ball. Worked great with my drives where I have a bit more tilt at setup.

      yes you can forward press, that is a matter of personal preference. but in the back swing you need to work on cupping the right wrist in the take away as the first move back

        Yeah..to get back to the original question!

        I do start with my hands infront of the clubhead at address. You must maintain that initial angle at impact. If you end up with the clubhead even with the hands you are most likely flipping the clubhead though at impact.
