Re: Advice about Balls?
At least to me, I have not really seen a huge diference between a Pro V1, A Bridgstone B330, Nike 1 or a Callaway Black. For me The ProVIx goes farther then those above (I think about 10 yds with the Driver not much change with my irons), I have heard that it is an easier ball to compress and is designed to increase distance (by making it with a thinner outer layer) for those who lack the Pro's swing speeds. (My swing speed is somewhere between 90-95). With your swing speed I would say that any of the above would be good to use and might be better then a PorV1x since you have the swing speed to compress them. (Though playing them might give you an idea)
Those above at least my understanding are made to spin less then the Hard golf balls of yester year and to also land softer. I think it would be hard to ever get consistent if you are switching between the above performance golf balls, hard distance golf balls and Soft spin Golf balls. Though I think until you get to the point of scratch golfing you probably can switch between any of the performance golf balls without hurting your game.
