I have an inexpensive set that I have been using for about 3 months. Golf for women magazine recommends Adams but I was curious what others use or would recommend

I would recommend finding out your driver swing speed. Unless you're swinging at 90 MPH, I would recommend 16° of loft or more. Integra makes heads like this, so does SMT in some models, and the Aggressive AG400 also comes in a 16° head. In fact, I built one for my mother (AG400, 16° [17° actual]), and she now hits it 125-135 (60 MPH swing speed).

            Hi,

If your current clubs were made within the last 4 years and have graphite shafts, I would recommend working on your swing a while more. Once your more comfortable with your swing, you can try out some new clubs and see how they feel. Now a days most golf stores have a test area with equipment that shows the launch angle and distance you are hitting.

As tpg says, the slazenger big ezee are a good choice and if you are happy with these you wont need to consider woods

A good woman ? Is that a oxymoron? Sorry , just joking.

Seriously, I would recommend Taylor Made Miscela woods and hybrids.

I am contrary to many in that I recommend investing money in good clubs from the very beginning because if you know you have that much invested, you will try harder to make it work. Also, you will have the advantage of the best in technology so there is no excuse outside of taking lessons from a good pro.
Be very wary of pro's who want to drag out the lessons and make you their star pupil, do interview pro's to make sure they understand what you want to accomplish and get their timeline and dollar estimate or tell them you are not interested.
My wife took lessons from the YWCA back in the 80's and is now a 10 handicapper; public rather than private lessons accentuate the fundamentals rather than tricks, gimmicks and con jobs.
All you pga and other schooled pro's out there take notice.

Invest In Lessons.the Payoff Is Better.spend The Ig Bucks Later On Down The Line.if You Have A Good Swing You Can Hit With Any Club.
