Fade Turning Into Slice
Hi Paul,
I think the first thing that we need to work on is to improve the backswing.
I have attached this photo (a still from the video that you sent me) to show you that you are coming alittle on the inside on the way back, and that the clubface for that position in the swing is a little closed.
I would like to see the shaft angle a little more upright on line with the white line that I have drawn. This would enable you to have a little more control over the club and have it moving on a better plane allowing you to deliver the clubface more squarely into the ball.
In order to achieve this position you will need to feel that you are pointing the butt end of the clubshaft at the ball mid-way in the backswing and continue along the line until the top of the backswing. Remember the club should go no further than parallel to the ground otherwise you suffer from a loss of control over the club.
