how high and where should i be teeing up the ball using a 3 wood

I tee up my 3 wood the same as I would for playing an Iron off of a tee, just barely above the ground.

Though, I guess it could depend on the type of face your 3 wood has, but for the most part if your 3 wood is meant to be played off the fairway teeing it any higher can only cause problems

i was teeing up same as driver and topping it and then brought ball back in stance and i was skying it!
