moving on to forged blades

been playing with offset clubs for 8 years and decided to switch to blades, all seem find except the 6 & 5 irons. I am guessing I may not be technically capable as yet but is there any difference in the ball position, set up etc between off set and blades?

My blades seem like they are 10m shorter with each club and I feel like I need to really keep my head behid the ball for the 5 & 6 iron to get a decent strike.

How did you guys handle the transition? All help is most appreciated

From what I have read, blades actually should be hit further than cavity backs when hit in the center. I would guess that you are not hitting it as far now because you are not hitting the center often enough. The cavity back makes up for off center hits and the blade does not.
