  • lower ball flight

My handicap is about an 18. I would typically fall into the group of golfers that need help getting the ball up, but as it turns out I think that I get the ball up too much. I don't think it is my clubs, but some flaw in my swing. Is there a drill that I can work on to lower my ball flight. I am not keen on moving the ball in my stance, as I prefer to leave it off my left heel and change the width distance of my feet. I suspect that I am allowing the club to get ahead of wrists, scooping the ball...

My Right Hand Drill is for the scooping problem and you will play a lower trajectory. I like the idea of playing the ball in the same position off the front foot and adjust the width to the shot....just make sure the width is shorter for the shorter clubs (probably you already do this...)
