I just can't stress the importance of a good short game to all those struggling with their game right now or those who simply want to improve. Two weeks ago shot 23 points playing off a handicap of 21. This Saturday after consistent practice with the wedges and putter - 37 points and thats with no scores on 3 holes! Sure my swing is better than it was 2 weeks ago but I still know its not at its best. Learn to scamble it will save you so many shots!

Re: Short game, short game, short game!
...look at how Geoff Ogilvy won the Open. He chipped in to save par and then got up and down after a really tuff break on 18. He was able to make 4 straight pars on the last 4 holes while the rest of the field couldn't finish.
