I need some help. I recently had someone video my swing and I find at no real surprise that I raise up on my toes during the forward swing. It is most noticable on the driver swing. I still strike the ball well 250+/-20 yds but am erractic (pull-straight-slices). I have tried to correct this but have not been sucessful. Any ideas on correcting this swing fault.

Re: Golf Swing Fault
hard to say without seeing the video, do you mean both feet or just left foot. if you are right handed. If both feet end up on toes during swing your posture is probably off. meaning you dont want to set up in a position that someone could easily push you over forwards or backwards, your wieght should be centered and in good balance. also try to keep good tempo and hold finish. I would suggest you post your video to get good feedback though as a picture is worth......u know the rest

Re: Golf Swing Fault
Thanks for your reply: right handed and both toes. A friend said I was applying too much upper body force or hitting with arms and shoulders. Tempo may be too fast. I admire those that can turn under the ball. I will try to post video but am trying to figure out how to reduce the size of 6megs. Thanks again.

Re: Golf Swing Fault
At start and through back swing, weight is evenly distributed between ball of foot and heels. On forward swing, the weight transfers to the balls of foot or toward the toes. In looking at my swing, I now think my hands are getting too high on back swing or my swing plane is too upright thus creating a wind mill effect. (theory 257+1). Anybody believe this might be the cause of pulling up on the forward swing? Thanks for all help.
