Well I returned from my month hiatus of golf and GTO. I don't know how you people down south practice golf this time of year. I live in VA and on a coold day I can hit about 150 balls but on a hot day after about 75 balls I am done for and sweat is dripping down everywhere and all over the grip making it imposible to be tension free so I have to quit for the day. This is the first summer I have been able to play golf and it is alot different than I thought it would be, I think I need to move out to the desert somewhere where there is not as much humidity.
But back to my point.......
I returned and I aparenly forgot how to play and sucked and had to re-learn all the swing thoughts that had made me sucseccful before so I thought I would share thoose with the hopes that they help you as much as they helped me.
* I will always go back to gregs RHD, that is great for accuracy
* A relaxed tension free swing is always good
* Keep you head still, it is the anchor of the swing. go to this website for more info and I would encourage you to read all 11 steps, I am no pro but I found most of his teachings to be correct. His grip fundamentals aren't for me but they could work for you. The Tsquare image I love, it gets me in the slot that people speak of, and makes it alot harder to make a bad swing if you move the hips and tilt th shoulders as he says. Gets you swinging form the inside great.
http://www.newgolfswing.com/newgolfswing07.php this also helps with a proper weight shift. his shoulder tap is good too, to see if you are on a good plane.
Thoose are the swing thoughts I use to get my swing back and to have a good constisant fairly long shot. HTH
