I must relate an amazing turnaround that occurred on my annual pilgrimage to Scotland - it wasn't me, it was my mate - he shot 117 one afternoon at Eyemouth and really wondered why he was there at all.
We went out for dinner that evening, talked about it, and later I got him to read the 5-page chapter on putting in Bob Rotella's book, "The Golfer's Mind"
The next morning he shoots 79 at West Linton "the round of his life" at a course that I was happy to break 90 on.
