The guy I golf with noticed that I don't always have a complete backswing. When I do I have decent shots and when I don't my play suffers. I didn't realize I wasn't winding up all the way.
Any suggestions?

Yea, wind up more. Just kidding. You might try this. When you feel that you are at the top of your backswing, make an extra effort to "Push" your right shoulder farther back until you feel a distanct resistance. Your left shoulder should be under your chin. Then just swap places with your shoulders with a powerful turn (rotation of the shoulders). I.E. put your right shoulder under your chin.
