  • Problem with the RH drill

I went to the course last night and tried the RH drill on both the range and the course. I found that i was snap-hooking my driver and hooking the rest of my clubs even down to my 9-iron. The 9-iron felt solid when i hit it but it just had a massive hook.

I also checked that i wasn't swatting so that couldn't have been the problem. Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you

check the clubface at impact, you are probably closing it in an attempt to keep your hands ahead of the ball.

sounds as if it is a path problem if you were snap hooking

Doesn't keeping the hands ahead open the face?

No, as long as when you are setup that way to start with a square face you are fine.

If you setup with your hands back, square the face, then move them forward...this will open the face. Not want you want to do.
