I'll take practice backswings and when the club comes back too the address postion it will go from the 12 0' clock postion too almost the 1 o' clock.
Is that in the hands or body?
Thanks guys.
Hi Mont,
I would think that you are bringing the club down on the outside, in other words you are not coming down on the same plane. Practice pulling the club down with your left hand which encourages the swing to stay on plane. It is like pulling down on a rope. Hope this might help
could be a grip issue. remember hands equal clubface. try gripping this way assuming right handed
hold the club with the toe up in your right hand on the metal of the shaft
while holding with the toe up, grip the club with the left hand - v point to the right eye and 2-3 knuckles showing
slide the right hand up to the left with v of right hand pointing in the same direction as the left
now swing and see where the clubface is pointing at impact.
i had the same problem when i started the game i have to have a very strong grip the back of left hand almost faces straight away from me at address. strengthen your grip and give it a try
do slow motion practice swing and continually streghten the left hand untill the club is square at impact point. Then try to hit ten balls that way and see how it goes. also check your divots and see what your path is
I was in the back yard tonite and did about 20 swings and couldn't get myself to do it tonite. I have noticed it off and on esecially during practice swings.
I do try to have a strong grip. v towards right shoulder.
I'm right handed
