hello thanks for your advice on my last problem,im finding this site very informative.i did a video of my swing this weekend and realised that i had very rounded shoulders, not a straight back as in your posture photos.i have been playing a while very inconsistantly.so am looking back to the basics.anyway i cant walk passed a mirror at the moment without practising my posture and ive been driving my wife mad ,is this it,is this it.you know the score.i think ive got it now but its not as comfotable as my old one.the thing is how long will it take before it feels ok and do you think this had anything to do with inconsitant shot making,a push to the right on a good day,a fade come slice the next.your views are very much appreciated.

Cabbie,
You bet, The more things you do correctly before you take the club back the more consistent shot you will make. Posture changes just like any change take about 21 days of consistent practice.
Fortunately, You can practice posture anywhere. Sitting tall in a seat with you back off the back of the chair, will help. Square your shoulders as you stand tall. It will also boost your confidence over the golfball.
Posture is a fundamental key to good shots.

thankyou golfbald for your reply.i went out today and i have not hit the ball as sweet for a long time.i hit most fairways with straight drives except for 15th and 16th went a bit slicey but finished off with a couple of crackers,so all in all i am very happy.i am amazed at how much posture has to do with the swing.no doubt i will be back with more questions soon.thankyou
