inside out? most people have a problem with outside in
If it is inside out that is your problem work on getting your butt cheek behind you as fast as you can, you might be sliding your hips too much. SO what you want is to swing more left, without trying to do that with your hands

          Hi Neil,

The easiest way I have every found to stop this is place a head cover or length of wood two inches further away from your ball like this:

          {..........Target....................{{{{

          ----------------------------- piece of wood etc
          ...............B........................Ball

          F--------------------F Feet

Practice like this every time you practice for at least six weeks, if you come over the top or outside in you will hit the headcover or wood, get fall into the trap of doing it for a few sessions thinking youv'e cracked it and forgetting about it...................6 weeks at least.

          Good Luck

          Ian.

              No worries Niel,

A very common problem with Golfers looking for improvement is that they always quit to early and never quite engrain a swing change.

Human nature to continue to explore before finding your feet.

              Me included.

              Happy golfing

              Ian.

                    Re: My Swing

Another thing you might want to try is taking two long boxes like a golf club would come in. Set one box on top of the other one but with the end overhanging about halfway. Place a tee in the ground under the end of the top box with or without a ball and stand beside the boxes with the overhanging box aiming down your target line. Setup to the tee/ball like you normally would the try to take your swing without hitting the bottom box.

                    TOP_BOX___
                    t. . . BOTTOM_BOX

Ball would be teed where the little t is and with your swing coming from the inside out you try to hit the ball/tee. Once you get so you can hit the ball everytime without hitting the bottom box you've pretty much got that inside out swing perfected

                      Re: My Swing

Something else that's probably the most simple trick yet and may work for you is teeing your ball, then turning the lettering on the ball so the words are aiming down your target line. Similar to what a lot of golfers do when lining up a putt. Take that word as the center of you ball and when you swing, aim your clubhead just inside the lettering. That makes it so you are focusing on hitting not the whole ball but just a small point about a quarter of an inch away from the back center of the ball towards you. Inside out. Try it, it might be a simple fix.

Or you could try what someone posted on another thread awhile back. Take the club you hate hitting the most and tee your ball up so the tip of the clubhead is about 1 inch from the side of your garage then swing away. LOL. That could do some damage to the side of your garage but it sure would cure an outside in swing.
