Guys be honest how many of you have benefited from learning about the RH drill by Greg Willis? I have tried it and it does seem to offer very crisp iron shots which is very good in the first year of golf for me. I was just trying to get a head count of how many people actually have tried the drill?

Re: RH Drill by Greg Willis
has changed my game more than any tip i have ever heard! i went from driving 220ish and everywhere to 260ish and dead strait. i couldn't believe how simple yet effectice it was. the added distance is nice..... but i can't believe how strait I actually hit it now. but honestly i liked the video on his site and that little tidbit of info is what helped me, i have never actaully tried the drill.

Re: RH Drill by Greg Willis
It's the best single piece of advice I've found. When I used to play as a teenager I remember having my hands forward of iron shots, probably I thought it was about getting backspin on the ball. I forgot about that until I saw Greg's tip. It has improved my irons. I'm working on my driver using the RH Drill now.

Re: RH Drill by Greg Willis
Do you really need to exaggerate the angle in the right hand to get this gist of the drill? I tried the drill one time at the range and just couldn't hit the ball that great for some reason irons or driver? What is the best way to work this drill into your game of golf?

Re: RH Drill by Greg Willis
have you ever tried greg normans the secret, or david leadbetters the answer, or rick smiths swing glove might undirectly do the same thing? the first to help you keep the right cup, and the last one helps keep the left wrist flat and only cock and uncockLast edited by lgskywalker37; 09-11-2006, 07:39 PM.

Re: RH Drill by Greg Willis
Willis info is great. I used it and 3 summers ago I broke 80 about 15 times and shot an even par 72 round on a tough course. Normally before that I would break 80 maybe 2 times a summer. Unfortunately a bad hip somehow has lost me my previous form the last 2 years, and I have been messing around with other swings trying to find something that doesn't hurt.

Not only is the drill a cure for swatting, it can be used on the course for very accurate bump & run shots onto the green.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
Re: RH Drill by Greg Willis
A coach I admire and respect had me hit shots with virtually this same drill - set the wrist, turn the body.
With what felt like a 3/4 swing and this wrist-set, I was getting almost all the distance as my former full swing managed to get.
RHD - great stuff.
