I am of the opinion that most higher handicappers don't finish their backswings. They seem in such a hurry to hit and see the ball that they stop at 3/4 or less and then to make matters worse, they pull up so they can see the ball.
From driver to chips to putts a necessary ingredient to good ball striking is to stay down and committed to the shot.
I am not preaching here but who among you have noticed how much easier you can swing when you take a full backswing?
Who has noticed the great feeling of completing the backswing versus the short choppy stab at the ball?
While we are talking about distance and ball striking on this site, we should also mention the necessary ingredients to produce both.
I am open to opinions and would really like to hear from you all on what you do to accomplish the above.
