Does anyone ever go to their swing coach for video when they are swinging well? Or, is that just not done anymore? I would think this is still a productive way to monitor a person's swing. With videos, and slow motion as advanced as they are, the picture of a swing that is working well, would make it easier to pin point problems when the swing breaks down. It would save time for both the player, and the instructor as they would spend less time searching for the problem simply by comparing the bad against the good. With the right video equipment even the higher handicapper, would be able to compare their own bad swing against their own good swing. GJS

Re: When Swinging Well
hi
about every 6/7 weeks i take my camera to the pratice range and use it on video and take about 40/45 clips of me swinging and take a note of what shot went where and if i was trying to fade it and by how much. then i spend few hrs looking at then and finding out when every thing was good and why some where bad, its good doing it like that as you can see your good and bad swings on same day and its easy to compair the two swings.
i find it a big help to me and i use v1 that came with leadbetters interactive and use that to check my swing too.
sometimes i spend 4/5 hrs looking and going over my swing and seeing whats right and whats wrong, i could not aford to spend that amount of time with a pro ever few weeks but if there something i cant fix i'll take a clip of my video and show him and ask for help, done that twice and he had me sorted in 10 minuets both times.
doing it like this has helped me understand the swing lot more and think i know more now looking at my videos this last 2 years than in the last 25 years playing. i know what i do good and what i am weak doing, so i can work on the things i'm weak at and see them improve and do it at my pace and when i want.
