    Re: dynamic balance

sorry, i don't know anything about it but, i assume that is how people like ben witter are able to stand on an exersize ball and still hit it over 300 yds! i would bet 99% of the population couldn't even stand on a ball for longer than 10 seconds let alone swing a golf club on it.

      Re: dynamic balance

It is the ability to maintain balance when moving. I am not sure if there is an exact science reference relating to golf though.

I guess dynamic balance is maintained by the distribution of weight to counteract the changes in centre of gravity during the golf swing. Muscle flex will also have a steadying effect with respect to stability.

well the basics of it is the bodies PRIMARY goal when doing any sport is to find balance and that will be its main concern. SO in the golf swing if we are unbalanced at any point the body will subconsciously seek balance. SO if the balance is off the swing will change to accomodate finding balance, so if that means loosing spine angle or even coming over the top, then that is what the body will do without you consciously thinking about it. I was just wondering if anyone has gone in depth into the subject.
