Having a little discharge means you are adding pressure/tension to your torso at the top. You might want to create that at setup and help the spine angle...possible power "leak"? ...sorry
And if I was playing in your group, I would have added insentative to always win the hole and hit first...don't want to have that thought of your previous swing "lingering" in my head ...again sorry.
