    Slats,

Your expectations are low and there is no pressure to perform. That's why you had the good scores in the c r a p conditions.

Dontcha just hate when they shut down the course. I had that happen once and I had driven quite a ways to get there. Dayum..

I grew up in and around Columbia SC most of my life (Army Brat). Grad of USC. Go Cocks. Spurriers is getting it done dontcha think. I have a brother who lives there still. An Attorney. You wouldn't be him now would you? Jimmy here.. I doubt you are because he doesn't know the back of a computer from the front. I like your tip BTW. I practice my swing in my office, but I haven't tried slow motion. I'll do it though.
Rain gloves? where do you get those? You're right about a good grip, I wouldn't want that club to get away from me now, at least not by accident ..
You can get rain gloves at Dicks or just about any golf store. The wetter they get the better they grip. Well worth it if you are determined to play in the rain. I am happy the Gamecocks are doing well but I am an LSU graduate.

Great season, though with a team like ya'll had this year I'm sure you had hopes of playing for a national championship. Still a very good year for LSU.

having said that my 2 best ever scores have come on wet and windy days!
had an 86 on saturday in awful conditions and a near 5 hour round
I have yet to find a firm correlation between any one thing and my playing better,,,,except maybe high energy days seem to go better for me than low energy days. Plus low energy days tend to suck some of the enjoyment out of the round as well. Just more of a struggle all around..

Weather is going to be in the 60's and 70's with plenty of sun here this weekend. So I'm sure the courses will be full. I'll be there...
