  • Uneven Lies

After seven months of playing I was getting frustrated with topped shots or fat shots. The courses here are very uneven and I learned that if I make practice swings and make sure to make adjustments if needed until I brush the grass I make good contact. I stumbled on a good website that showed you how to play sidehill, uphill, downhill, and ball above and below feet lies. My question is for the tee box. If there is no "flat spot" on the tee box do you guys adjust your tee height until the ball is even with your feet or do you still adjust your swing accordingly?

I Adjust the swing. My tee hight usually stays the same for driver/3w (except on trying to change the flight).

I'm the opposite - I try to find myself as level a spot as possible. If not, I setup with a driver with the ball below my feet, and tee it up higher. For irons, you have to play it like an uneven lie (or sweep it off the tee). I prefer the former, and then setup to play the hole.
