I am from a place where there is no driving range on real grass. People practice here on mats. For this reason, I am trained to hit the ball clean. On the course, same thing....no divots at all. If I ever hit a ball with a divot, it's when I ground the clubs and they are inevitably bad shots.
My question is: under the limitation of my driving range, is it still possible for me to practise in such a way that on course I can dig out a nice divot after hitting the ball?
