Okay, s4P and the rest who regurgitate stuff in books rather than their actual expertise, which book did you get this from this time?
Why not take real lessons and learn to play.

Spend your time at some pay site with David Ledbetter or Jim Flick or whomever if you want it straight from some expert. The advice here is free and you can take it or leave it.
hey takinitdeep sorry to see the brown bottle flue is still with you. Got a couple of questions for you, did you by chance get your name from prison? Also, did you by chance read where I said "Now I have been loking into mostly set up lately and through the help of an instructor and some friends at another website, I have figured out why my weight never shifted correctly to the rear heal.
so try this if you like"
I come on here and post, trying to help so I can wreck everyones golf game cause I hate all the people in the world. I spend my time trying to explain just so I can hate. Hey maybe that is why I am a school teacher too, I hate kids. went out to dinner with my family today cause I hate them too. I hate my friends too. Brian, cmays, jeff, jam, matt, lowpost, vp, slater, greg, s2k3, tony, whizz, dawg. robert, etc... Hate all you guys, I hope all your lives go down the toilet
why dont you do us a favor buddy and tell us ALL YOUR original swing ideas and concepts, we wont hold our breath on that one. But I am sure you have hundreds of original ones cause you are the man. Wel love you takinitdeep, you are so cool I hope one day I can be just unlike you
The thing is takinitdeep. I dont hate you buddy, I honestly wish you all the best in the world, as I do everyome in the world. You need someone to talk to, shoot me an email I listen. Hey Everybody, check out my Daily Golf BLOG at http://www.rutagolf.com I would LOVE feedback from all of you and your insight and opinions are welcome! I have a great archive of Golf tips and articles pertaining to everything Golf! Thanks!
I like this. I work on my footwork all the time. The lower body work in the swing is critical in creating the correct pivot and having control over your shot patterns. Working on the weight and what part of the feet you feel you are shifting to creates a great sense of balance and that is huge!
so SGM, when you did this did you notice a difference in how the weight shifted when you had a lot of knee bend and a little knee bend? from your still impact position it looks like you play with very little knee flex. And you are right, footwork is huge, I will say for 7 years or so I never focused on foot work, now that I do it is becoming easier to hit the ball consistently.
I have been working closely on my finish position lately concentrating on a full wrap around finish ala Tiger, Adam Scott, Wie (many players have this look). My weight is 95% on my front foot with pressure mainly on the outside (targetward). My right toe is being used for balance. This has helped my weight shift and footwork tremendously. I can hold the balanced finish in most cases as long as desired after some practice.
This swing key really forces you to look at the swing as an entire physical movement versus the individual segments. I think sometimes we can get bogged down in the details and miss the big picture. Deceleration at impact is one of the biggest swing wreckers going. Swinging to a full and balanced finish almost assures that the rest of the swing was performed with some athleticism and correct technique as well as preventing deceleration.
Hey tim,
I am glad it has helped you. That is great to hear. Jack focused on footwork a lot as well and talked about where the weight goes in the swing. If I could give you another tip, I would say dont worry about wrapping around too much here is two swings that are great and they are not even close to the tiger wrap around http://www.golfdigest.com/instructio..._onr0ho8c.html http://www.golfdigest.com/instructio...8samsnead.html
click on the video links in there, and if you are not signed up it is free
on the vidoe you can frame by frame it, very nice feature
one of those swing is reffered by some to be the sweatest swing and by no means was he a short hitter. Also, the full wrap around will cause you back problems.
thanks for being open minded and exploring tim
good luck in the search

Hey Shootin...I would say I noticed it first with my coach because I had too much KNEE BEND. My legs are long and because of that I bent them more to reach the ground (standard length clubs) but as it turned out...all I needed to do was stick my tailbone out a little more and straighten my legs or in effect stand a little taller. I noticed that this put me in balance more and improved my pivot along with how my weight transfers. I still have an athletic setup/posture and the importance is that from the ground up your balls of your feet, your knees and your armpits are all dissected by a verticle line. Since you commented on my pic, I will show you a pic of me at address with the driver to show my posture and knee bend..
Thanks and just bend a little from the knees and stick your tailbone out...also make sure the shaft line points at or very close to your belt buckle because people tend to lose that important angle when they adjust knee bend or posture lines.
SGM, thanks for posting the posture pic looks pretty good there, but at the level you are I am sure you know that. Do you by chance have a swing sequence of yourself that you could post? maybe you could post that on another thread and a brief discription of what you focus on in the swing. and looking at your pic I will guess you are playing a draw, it could be a cut but from that set up I would say draw.
I waked in a little after 3:30 and was going to sit down and read some of the post.
On that one you ask me I think about the hip bend, if that is what you are speaking about. Just bend over from the waist and place your finger tips about 2 inches above the knees. When you do that the knees should flex w/o any help.
See if that is not close to what you are doing, please sir.
Yeah, tried it Pretty much have the same amount of flex in both
as far as georges method, one time I saw a really bad car crash and I now try and keep it far away from my mind as possible, please dont remind me and enjoy the coaster courtesy of neil.
