Iv'e been working on keeping my left wrist flat for a couple of weeks. It works great, I get about 20 extra yards with my short irons. The ball starts out straight and then turns left though(maybe 10 degrees). After I was confident with this, I just aimed a little right of the green and it worked well. I'm going to try keeping my left hand flat with my right hand, as in Greg's rh drill. I love flipping my hands, but this sure works better. Any thoughts on straightening it out?

PCS Class 'A' Clubfitter
A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
Re: Flat left wrist
Weaken your grip.
As I understand it, the flat left wrist also keeps the right wrist cup - this effectively delofts your club (adding distance) and makes for good compression.
However, if your grip is too strong, the clubface will come in closed - sending balls left.
