i agree about the 3 players you talk about having owned there swings faults and all, i would add trevino was another that developed a swing that worked for him and he use a lot of the things hogan used as his fundementals and tweeked them to work for him in his open stance swing, i think the use of his hips and the plane of the back swing and follow through is very much in the hogan system of the swing plane, having a diffrent plane on the back swing as the hips move and turn it brings the club into a diffrent plane on the downswing.
all 4 player understood there swing inside out and were there own teachers most of the time. the understood the swing better than anyone else.
moe like trevino was very accurate and always made good clen contact with the ball same as trevino. moe was also very shy like trevino but trevino put on a face for the public and and joked to cover his nerves.
