  • towel under right arm pit

i was told i have a bad flying elbow which is causing my wrist to be hinged at the top of the swing which is why i probably come over the top a lot in my swing or maybe one of the reasons.i was told to put a towel under my right arm pit as this will help to keep my elbow down and obviously my right arm nearer my body ,is this the best thing for me to practise please help as it feels weird when i do it.
    thanks

It is a good drill but only works on half swings. When you swing to the top you will have to release the towel as your right arms leaves the chest.

Keep doing it while swinging halfway back and through. Pick up on that feel then try and repeat it in the full swing without the towel.

wear a watch on your left hand and put a comb in it horizontally so that when you make a fist it trails over your fist.. this will help keep the left wrist straight and prevents unhinging..

On your downswing if you see more than one knuckle on your left hand it means that it has broken down and the swing is ruined.. only one knuckle should be seen on the downswing and impact position.. slow your downswing down to see
