What's interesting, is that the video is not really "the drill". It is an attempt to explain the positions of what the drill makes you do (hands, shoulders...). The actual drill is in the text. So, what I will try to add is the actual drill in the 2 camera angles and see if this adds to the understanding.

Well I'm going to toot my own horn because I don't get to do it very often. After hitting balls on the range for the last few days working on keeping the angle through impact (which is what I have been working on) I went out and played a round yesterday.....I wasn't really sure if I could take what I saw (straight ball flight) from the range to the course, but I was going to keep with it even if things went sour.....But I was pleasently surprised how well things worked out.....I shot even 72 (39-33) at our local course(Quicksand golf course) here which was named in the top 15 hardest courses in Texas. The more into the round the better I felt at trusting the new move.Crazy stuff going on here and the ball striking was never better......Looking forward to grooving this for good and keeping the confidence going.

            Greg

With the new video you are doing, could you also include how Greg Norman's Secret works as well as I know it fits with the RHD

            Cheers Matey

I personally like the lower boring ball flight.
              Fade it high....Draw it low.

This is my first attempt at getting a RHD lesson on tape. I have a feeling the video angles are not exactly what you were looking for, so help me out...what is good/bad about this version.

At the end I have my 2 swings in the drill. Is this enough? Do you like the lesson at the begining?

                    Hi Greg,

That's good. Seeing the drill being used in the full swing presses home the method much easier.

I would suggest a front on camera angle may be better though.

                    Great stuff!

                      Thanks Greg that's great.

But as Brian said, front on view would be useful as well.

                        Re: Right hand drill

The "front on" angle is shown in the original RHD video. Golf Lessons - GregJWillis

In the new video, I gave 2 shots at the end, one from the back and the other from the front...would you want to see the lesson having shots from the front then? I would have to be a little better prepared to move the camera around during the lesson, but I could probably do that.

                        Thanks for the replies!

                          Greg,
Just so that the video could be more of a standalone video (wouldn't have to rely on the first video as much - please don't ever get rid of the first video BTW). You could preface the new one with a short "talking to the camera" piece that gives the highlights of the drill (right wrist bent back and up&down wrist cock and release) and what it is trying to accomplish (ungodly accuracy).

                            Gregg:

This video is very informative. I use the original drill video just as a refresher. This video is very useful because it shows the RHD in practice.

                            thanks,

                              Greg,

thank you for the great video...the guy looks like me "coming over the top" on the full swing.

I can't wait to try it out, unfortunatly I pulled a rib muscle at the gym 2 days ago...I'm pissed waiting all winter (MI) to get out to the range and now I have to wait God knows how long!!!

If anyone has a remedy for that pain let me know...

                              thanks again Craig...

Thanks for the comments! And the only remedy I know of for pain, is either hurt something else to get you to forget about the first pain, lots of drugs - happy drugs, or rest and heal. Your clubs will understand.
