please can someone help, for about three months now i have been getting pain in my left hip, i am only 30 and stretch every day, does any one know what i may be doing in my swing to cause this, or if any one else has this problem thx whippet
Whippet, have you considered the possibility that you may have an arthritc hip? Seriously, it is a possibility. Does this pain only arrive in your golf game? If so it could be something to do with your swing or whatever you do with your hips in the swing
I can tell you from personal experience that hip pain can be a symptom of either hip problems or lower back problems If you have wear with the lower vertebrae then pinching of the nerves in this area can produce painful symptoms in the hip. Get it checked out to highlight the problem area so you can understand what can be done.
I'm a golfaholic, no question about that. Counseling wouldn't help me. They'd have to put me in prison, and then I'd talk the warden into building a hole or two and teach him how to play. ~Lee Trevino
