You can check out lots of pro swings at golfdigest.com

You have to sign up to be an 'insider' or whatever (free).

You certainly can't go wrong by joining thegolfchannel.com. They have a video library that is second to none.

I have been a memer for years! Money well spent.

golfspan.com is pretty good - I join and rejoin sometimes when my game is acting up.

The membership fee is a yearly one of like $20 USD or so, can't remember at the moment - but it's a very good website with many of the top instructors.

Should also mention that Golfspan has a free membership which provides viewing hundreds of videos. I've found it to be very helpfull

You may also want to consider downloading the V1.Home 2.0 program which can be used free to view golf swing videos. You can slow down, add lines, etc. They also have a small library of swings you can download. It helps me to see someone with a similar swing do it correctly.

btw that has given me an idea of doing a website or blog on good golf instruction sites. i'm also a webdesign geek. hmmm!

A website of golf resources by category (instruction, acticles, etc) and with a user based rating system could be of interest to many people myself included. I think the ratings are necessary to be benefical to the golf community

                    Just one old man's opinion.

                      hi macdonab,

some good ideas. i will see how i can do that with a website. i not a pro in html programming stuff, just a hobby like golf is, using a WYGIWYS webdesign software.
the user input rating function is something i have never done. hmm! got to figure that one out.

Well, to utilize a server-side database you'd need to use ASP, java or something of that nature. Still it would be a good learning experience for you.

Geoff: like all else, there are some websites that are horrible and should be avoided due to misinformation and/or poor site management and/or domineering members. If you experience bad sites, report them here so we can avoid them.
Anyone else know of bad sites?

Maybe someone could start a "Good, Band and Ugly" forum/discussion/article here to house all this info. Not just I do or don't like, but rather why. There are obviously hundreds of such sites and only a small percentage are worth visiting more than once. GTO is one of those rare exceptions.
