This has not really given me alot of trouble over the years but its starting to bug me. When i set up to the ball and line up my feet to the target they never seem to point exactly where i want them to. The odd thing about this is that i end up hittting the ball to my target even thought i dont set up properly. Ive tried picking a spot infront of my stance and drawing an imaginary line down my feet, but it doesnt seem to work and i was wondering if anyone had some different suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Alignment
hi stefan,
i usually align the ball to the tee, find some leaf in the same line, than align the club, than my feet and lastly shoulders.
i also pick up my club horizontally, align them to the ball to tee line as a check to see if my toes are inline, than line-up the toes, leg & lastly shoulders.
also i not sure of your age, but the older we get, we lose our sense of optical preception slowly. maybe that could affect you too. i not expert on this, i maybe stand for correction.

Re: Alignment
How do you set up, open or closed?
If you watch Tour players they normally start by setting the face of the club square to target then taking their stance square to the clubface, it is a mistake to set your feet first then place the club.
