  • Bottom of swing arc.

What is causing my swing arc with my fairway woods and hybrids to be so far back. I am now hitting my driver good again and my irons but put a fairway wood in my hands and its over. My swing arc with my 3 wood is bottoming out in front of my rear foot .? The only way i can hit my three wood is to move the ball back like a freakin wedge shot. Am I falling back with this club? My fairway woods are the only clubs I cant hit. If somebody can give me the right tip to hit these clubs I will dub thee "The Master". When I hold this club its like Im holding a rattlesnake. Im thinking I should sell it and releive myself of the bad mojo that has tainted this club. It may find its final resting place at the bottom of Monahaughns pond on hole 14.

Having read all the replies from your last post and you are ever likely getting confused with all that information, when you take a lesson you usually get two things to work on.

I liked your swing and tempo, and I advised that you simply move the ball a fraction forward and then start to work on the swing plane, which I attached Adam Scott's swing for you to understand better the planes needed to perform a good solid swing.

I know you are craving for more information but you need to walk before you can run. Work on the two basic things first and your ball striking will improve dramatically with all your clubs without doing anything else.

I would suggest that once you have the basics, set-up etc then the swing plane is the next step, once mastered you should be a good ball striker.

    Hope this helps.

    Ian.
