I tend to cast the club (usually outside of the target line) at the very last moment before impact. Basically, I begin to release the club as my hands are coming down (I am not casting from the top).
I'm sure this is a mental issue where I'm trying to help the ball into the air or steer it in the right direction. This causes me to either push the ball right or hit it directly left with a little hook. My divots come across the ball, which tells me I'm coming from the outside.
The big problem is that I know I am doing this but can not stop. Are there any drills that can help me?
Thanks!
