I think I understand what it means when teachers talk about "keeping the arms in front of the chest" in the upright swing that teachers such as Butch Harmon advocate but I'm not really sure. Does anyone have a good explanation of this and how it should feel at the top (specifically the left and right arms). I think I get too connected at the top with my arm too much acrossed my chest which causes me to get my arms stuck behind me in the downswing and I've been subconciously saving shots using my hands.
Any good descriptions of what it means and how it feels to "Keep the arms in front of the chest" would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
