Re: Hitting down on the ball
To all,
I have re-read this thread because I am working so hard on hitting my irons more crisply by hitting down and through the ball with a divot on the target side of the ball.
There were several comments by Cmays and others suggesting setting up with more weight on the left (target side) leg. That is causing me confusion.
If I set-up with more weight on my forward leg (target side, I am right handed) then my head is slightly forward or on the target side of the ball. From all I have read, my spine tilt should start with a 2 degree slant AWAY from the target side and my head should be BEHIND the ball.
If I set-up with the 2 degree slant AWAY from the target, it makes it very difficult to start with more weight on my left leg.
Can someone untangle this for me??
Thanks ahead of time.
