    If you felt more in control on the downswing, I'd have thought you'd feel more comfortable playing like that. Was the uncomfortable part due to the interruption in the rhythm of the swing?

        hi todd
        yes it did not feel right for me to stop at the top then pump and then swing through, but it does work. give it a try and you will be suprised how well you hit the ball.

          I just want to reiterate that to use this method the club is not positioned at the TOP, It should be positioned at the end of the takeaway or halfway back (See Video) The shoulders are then pumped on round to create a 90 deg shoulder turn and bring the club to the top without lifting. This is important in the move as it generates sufficient momentum and torque for a good downswing.
