  • Range Balls

I've been trying to figure out my distance with each club on the range. The problem is, the balls at my range are the solid plastic type which don't fly as far as real balls. Anyone got any idea how much less distance you get with a range ball?

I always tell my students as they start to be consistant and want to hit distances to check distances on a course and use the same brand golf balls. Different golfballs have different flight characteristics. That is a whole other discussion. Another thing I have them do is put a small peice of tape on the shaft and write the average distance with each club. Makes selection easier on the course.
