    Yeah, I think you're right, and Tom Cox's article seems to back it up.

    Interesting about the hole in one ruling, Cmays - there really are some bizarre rules around for such a 'simple' game!

      Hi guys. Sorry I've been away for so long. Been trying to figure out how to give lessons without relinquishing my amateur status. There can be only one way. Teach golf psychology!! And charge for that, and if your clients need some friendly advice on their swing then that fine. Onwards .......

        Having said that, I think it's time to bite the bullet and give the current bunch of coaches in the North-West a run for their money and get serious.
