  • Wide vs. narrow stance w/driver

I prefer a wider stance with driver-not like jason lda champ-but certainly wider than with irons or even 3 wood. I find this gives me a wider takeaway, more stability, more room to move the pivot, and finally, a few more inches into the slot.
    Anyone feel the same?

do not set up with a wide stance. this promotes stronger use of the body than is desired in the two plan swing.
are you a one plane swinger.

Speaking for myself, I am a one planer, always have been. I can see where two planers being so vertical don't need or want the room. Us other guys, need the room to spread out.
      Thanks for the info.
