I was working with my friend today on coming from the inside. We noticed that the head position as you start the downswing is a good key to staying on plane during the downswing. If you maintain the position of your head from the top of your swing until impact (not looking towards the target too soon) you will cause you shoulders to stay square and your arms will swing down the line instead of to the left of it (coming over top)
THE DRILL- We hit shots on the range looking well right of the ball (right handed golfer) and maintaining our head position having our face towards an area to the right of the ball thus keeping our bodies in position to swing from the inside!
What do you guys think? Any other good drills?
