I`m afraid I am a bit of a training aid junkie. One that I bought some time ago but haven`t really used is the whippy tempomaster. Does anyone else own one of these and, if so, what are your thoughts on it?

i think if it works then you hear about it, a bit like 3sk but if it don't work or you don't end up using it as often as you should then i think you don't hear people talk about it much.

It just a clubhead on a very very whippy shaft. You can get them in irons and drivers. A few of the pros recommend them for your tempo. I enjoyed learning to hit it (it wasn`t easy) but when I went back to my normal clubs I found that I had developed a serious hook. I contacted the guys who make them and they told me that it was because I had fast hands, a special skill that not many people have! (Sounded like a load of nonsense). They are made and sold in America but not here in the UK. It does get some good reviews in other forums but I`m afraid it`s gathering dust here.Comment
