    Re: my driver swing

You swing a club without striking a ball. If you want help on swinging the club better then we can help. If you want help on how to strike a ball better, we can't help you there. Imagine kicking a ball that wasn't there or slapping a puck that wasn't there or hitting a tennis ball that wasn't there. It's the same thing.

Come to think of it, once you strike a ball, you should look at where it's going. It will tell you precisely what you must know. The alternative is that you don't look at where the ball is going and never know what you must do.

martin is correct in some respects but there are some things we can see without hitting the ball. However, one must at least have a ball teed up and addressed. I right away saw what I thought was a serious flaw in your address but maybe it was because you didn't have a ball on which to set up.

There are some good things going on in your swing like there are with your 7 iron video. In both you are forcing the shot and creating excess body sway and lifting of the shoulders through impact.

Keep a steady tempo, stay more centred through the swing so that your weight does not move outside the insides of your feet and your head stays behind the ball.

There are two tilts at address, one is the tilt forward from the hips and the second is the spine tilt away from the target. Except for a little head movement, staying centered and maintaining the spine angle are the secrets to the swing.
You are losing your spine angle(s) by having too much body movement which raises and lowers your spine angle.
Things like swaying, lifting and lunging destroy the swing.
Try keeping your balance, pivoting from the waist up while taking about half as much pivot with the hips and don't move so much off the ball on your backswing.

You are getting ahead of your arms. ie. You need to hit at something, you need feed back. What I see is a fluid swing that is out of timing. If you slow down your bodyturn and let it fire the arms into the ball you will get results. Stay back on rightside more and fire right side into the ball not the leftside.
