  • Practice Tunes

Just for giggles, a little distraction. What do you listen to when you practice? I always have the MP3 on when I practice.

    Heres my current Playlist:

    Bernard Butler-A Change Of Heart
    Stereophonics-A Thousand Trees
    Velvet Revolver-Falling To Pieces
    Sigur Ros-Hoppipolla
    Rob Dickinson-Intelligent People
    White Stripes-My Doorbell
    Doves-Pounding
    Cheap Trick-Surrender
    Marillion-Sugar Mice
    Suede-The Wild Ones
    Rob Dickinson-My Name Is Love
    Catherine Wheel-Fripp

Which is about an hours worth of music, just enough for a nice practice session.

Anyone know any good practise music, stuff with a good rythym for the swing??

        Darude Sandstorm!!!!

Have you tried playing a round listening to tunes.... I was thinking about it, especially since there is a chatter box in our group - whether you are shooting or not!

          Oh No!

          Come on! <Enter name here>

Less of the old please! Actually the undercoat of impact spray on my hair has taken years off me (and the guy in the next bay)

I don't listen WHILE I practice...(I need to hear contact to help evaluate), but in my car in the parking lot before tournaments I would always crank up Seal-Crazy...something about the drum back-beat puts me into a nice psyche.

Ah of course, on the practice range before the final round of the club championship, listening to " old blue eyes " singing My Way. " And now the end is near ",,,,,,,,,I reach the 18th. tee, 542 yards into the wind, I'm one shot back, I rip a low draw into the middle of the fairway, I pull my #1 iron and hit a stinger on to the front of the green. Take a deep breath Jock, I roll a 30 foot breaking putt right in the middle, it's over, I won, then I hear over the PA system Pavarotti singing " Nessun Dorma " my favourite Puccini aria.
It's okay guys, I'm back, just a wee dream, and it's free !!
