Closed Club Face

I am a lefty, and recently I have been hitting the ball terribly, i.e., even with a graphite shaft I get the stinging sensation n my hands and I think it is becasue I am striking the ball with a closed club face. At address the club face is neutral - what would be the most likely cause of this ailment...

I don't know that hitting with a closed club face has ever given me stingers. Usually, it just results in a draw/hook. When I get that sensation, it's because I've completely mis-hit the ball (toe, hosel, topped/bladed it). Blading was my number one issue until recently and every hit (even with graphite) resulted in some uncomfortable feedback.

Thanks for your reply to my post! You were right - I think I was blading the ball - I googled "blading" found the remedy and all is well!
