Got The Middle!!!
G'day All, (Especially Brian W.)
Had the game of my short Golfing life on Sunday 14.06 at the Gosford Golf Club north of Sydney. Our social club hit off at 7.30am (gentlemens hour) and I was in the first group.
Brian I followed your advise and had the best first nine. socred 21 points. Fell into some old habits and rushed some strokes on the back 9 but still scored 16. a total of 36 for my day and only lost third place after a count back.
Instead of feeling sorry for me the boys where applauding my hits down the middle. What a wonderful change! I can't thank you enough for your help.
Our club championships start next month and I will keep working with your advise and hopefully will start getting better distance soon, mind you I was hitting pretty good distance on Sunday.
